GBE S.p.A. is an Italian company specializing in the production of resin and dry insulated transformers from a few kVA up to 30 MVA in all voltage classes up to 52 kV (BIL 250 KV), oil transformers from 50 kVA up to 50 MVA and 145 kV (BIL 650 kV), air, resin and oil insulated reactors with and without magnetic cores from a few kVAR up to 10 MVAR, and amorphous core transformers from 100 kVA up to 2500 kVA.
With 40 years of technical experience in the sector, the GBE group boasts 4 factories located in Italy for a total area of approximately 90,000 mq. The headquarters houses the offices and the production of resin and power oil transformers and reactors. The production of oil transformers up to 5000 kVA, however, is carried out in a separate factory for better production management and space optimization. Furthermore, not far away is the carpentry plant necessary for the entire production of tanks, mechanical semi-finished products and machinery components.
GBE is also present in the United Kingdom and Australia with two permanent establishments. Both offices are equipped with an office and workshop where local marketing, after-sales, service and, if required, the assembly of components to the transformer (RMU, MV Switchgear, LV Cabinet) are guaranteed.
The years of experience acquired by GBE allows us to solve the most varied requests both in terms of design and application. GBE has specialized in the production of customized transformers for all types of applications.
The quality of the GBE product, now recognized throughout the world, is guaranteed by the strong collaboration between the technical office and production departments and certified in the final phase by the test room which, in addition to routine tests, can also carry out type and special tests.
