And they can do an inspection while the power lines are switched on. The Automated Inspection increases the availability of the lines, reduces risks for people and assets, and ultimately saves costs.

Automated flight patterns and intelligent data analysis

Axpo uses automated flight patterns and intelligent data analysis to optimise the condition assessment of power poles and lines. High-resolution cameras capture even hard-to-reach areas and artificial intelligence helps to analyse the image material. Our experts carry out quality checks to recognise and assess damage to poles and power lines. Based on this information, maintenance and renovations are planned, and investments are made in a cost- and time-optimised manner.

Software platform “Insights”

With the web-based software platform "Insights", Axpo also offers an efficient solution for managing images and their data. These images can be linked with asset data from IT peripheral systems such as SAP or MS SharePoint, for example. The application provides a complete overview of the inspections carried out, the condition and damage analyses as well as a detailed view of assets. Of course, it can also be used as a search engine. With "Insights" you can optimise your strategies and make well-founded decisions.
