On paper, wind energy often looks different than it does in reality. That is exactly why we are on the road with our Windmobile: We bring information, exchange, and real experiences directly to the people on site.
We are a big fan of wind! Because in Switzerland, especially in winter, reliable power sources are needed, and this is exactly where wind energy shows its strength: wind energy produces the majority of its electricity in winter, making it an ideal complement to solar energy.
Whether it's tailwind or headwind, it's always blowing: while approval for wind energy is often high at the national level, questions and reservations understandably arise at the local level. This is a natural part of change processes that affect people directly in their living environment.
That is exactly why authentic communication is so important: when we inform transparently, listen, and seek solutions together, understanding and acceptance are created.
Our experience shows: the more specifically people get to know a project and the better they understand the impacts, opportunities, and challenges, the more informed their own opinions can be. Uncertainties often decrease and the discussion becomes more objective.
Our Windmobile is more than a vehicle. It is a mobile information center, developed to make wind energy tangible:
