Using SILOVEDA® forecasting tools and the LOADMAP® forecasting service, we create short, medium and long-term forecasts for the energy types electricity, gas, heat, water or combinations thereof. These forecasts are used by our customers for improved planning of purchasing and sales, structured procurement, minimisation of balancing energy costs, optimisation of in-house production, avoidance of peak shaving, minute-by-minute photovoltaic forecasts and much more.
New LOADMAP® forecasting function from the cloud
Introduced in 2003 and continuously developed since then, LOADMAP® is a service for precise energy forecasts with high availability. LOADMAP® produces forecasts for electricity, gas and district heating requirements for energy suppliers, as well as for drinking water consumption. The system takes regional weather forecasts into account and provides load or production profiles for the next ten days on a daily basis - including weekends and public holidays. This extremely reliable service is ideal for municipal and regional utilities that want to realise carefree and efficient production or procurement planning. LOADMAP® forecasting functions from the Azure cloud are now available for SILOVEDA® and customer portals for medium-term (weeks to months) and long-term (up to several years) forecasts, as shown schematically below:

SILOVEDA® forecasting - toolbox for smart modelling
As a SILOVEDA® customer, would you like to create and operate the forecasts yourself? In this case, your SILOVEDA® measurement and energy data management system can easily be expanded with the SILOVEDA® Forecasting Tools module. This module provides function blocks for forecasting models without any programming or maths knowledge. Additional functions and maths suites such as Matlab, Python or R can be integrated and used for unlimited modelling. This means that models and mathematical functions of any complexity can be built, integrated and/or automated.
Into the future with dynamism and flexibility
Our innovative forecasting systems are efficient, cost-saving and easy to implement. Depending on the product selected, all levels are possible for different types of energy and time periods, from a carefree service to a mathematical model enriched with your own algorithms, and can be expanded at any time to meet your future needs with little effort. And the standard SILOVEDA® system is used for device management and time series processing, which can process measurement series from a wide range of sectors such as electricity, gas, heat, water and emissions into useful company key figures and reports. SILOVEDA® and LOADMAP® forecasting functions bear the "swiss made software" label and are constantly being further developed in Brunnen on Lake Lucerne.
