ICT Solution for Energy Supplier
Together with Seabix, Dätwyler IT Infra has implemented a comprehensive ICT solution for EWA-energieUri: highly available network connections, modern workplace systems, intelligent management, and cloud technologies. This solution offers EWA-energieUri transparency, availability, and security.
EWA-energieUri is a Swiss energy service provider supplying the Canton of Uri with CO₂-neutral renewable electricity from hydro, wind, and photovoltaic sources, as well as renewable heat and cold energy. Their integrated solutions enable intelligent and environmentally friendly energy use. Extensive building electrical technology, network and power plant services, and complete ICT services complete the company's portfolio.
EWA-energieUri and Dätwyler IT Infra have a long-standing business relationship. In June, they signed an agreement to expand this partnership with IT/OT infrastructure and cloud solutions. Modernization of IT Infrastructure
To remain operationally efficient and flexible, the company decided to modernize its entire IT infrastructure and sought a competent partner. Dätwyler IT Infra AG, along with its subsidiary Seabix AG, quickly proved to be the right choice, offering EWA-energieUri a comprehensive and tailored ICT solution.
The implemented solution includes highly available and highly secure network connections for EWA-energieUri's various locations, as well as modern, flexible workplace systems for around 370 employees.
Use of Cloud Technologies
Intelligent management of networks, devices, applications, and virtual infrastructures maximizes transparency, availability, and security. Various cloud technologies, in a hybrid approach, efficiently support demanding applications such as design or graphics programs requiring powerful GPU capacities. Thanks to Seabix Cloud, IT operations can be georedundantly managed within Switzerland. Moreover, over the contract period, EWA-energieUri and its subsidiary ComDataNet AG anticipate offering joint solutions in the market. This includes smart solutions for OT-security services tailored to energy providers.
