Meter plug-in terminal 63 A and 80 A - safe and secure

Contact is made between the Swiss-made meter plug-in terminals (KJD063C1 and KJD080C1) and the pin set without any screws whatsoever. The jumper handle KJZ080C4 allows KWh meters to be replaced quickly and safely without interrupting operation of the downstream systems.

Unique safety features

The unique spring-loaded slide raises safety in the energy sector to a whole new level. When the meter is inserted, the slide moves down synchronously. When the meter is removed, the slide moves up synchronously. This ensures that the contact protection of the pins is assured at all times while the meter is being replaced, precluding the possibility of accidental contact.

While the meter is being replaced, the electrical load flows through the jumper handle until the new meter has been fitted. In the ZSK offered by Haiger, the jumper handle is locked in the fitted state when no meter is inserted. This ensures that no arcing can occur because the handle can only be removed when the meter has been installed.

Connection in precision

The prefabricated pin sets are fixed in position and oriented optimally to the KWh meter. The pin set eliminates the time needed to position the pins by means of an assembly gauge. The pins are made to the very highest standard of quality, guaranteeing reliable long-term operation with low power dissipation.

A new level of user friendliness

The new cover with 90° locking delivers a considerable time saving. This mechanism allows the transparent cover to be fitted and removed again literally with a “flick of a wrist”. The cover is sealable and can also be sealed with pin seals of max. 3mm diameter.

The optional control wire mount, which can be plugged in laterally, allows the meter wires to be stowed neatly.
It offers enough space for the clean and compact mounting of up to 7 control wires.
